Welcome to Laguna Niguel

One of California’s first master-planned communities, Laguna Niguel has grown to become one of the state’s most desirable places to live. Dramatic coastal hills with Pacific Ocean views, an abundance of scenic natural open space, and neighborhoods that offer a broad spectrum of home styles draw new residents every year.

Outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers can endlessly explore the city’s gorgeous attractions, which include Laguna Niguel Regional Park, the Niguel Botanical Preserve, and the meandering Salt Creek Trail, which leads to miles of local beaches in Dana Point and Laguna Beach. The Laguna Niguel Farmers Market is a popular stop, shopping is abundant, the El Niguel Country Club is a haven for golfers, and theater-going reaches new heights at Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas.

Nearly every season is celebrated in Laguna Niguel with the Sounds of Summer outdoor concert series, the Fall Boutique and Crafts Faire, and the Spring Glow paper lantern extravaganza.

Laguna Niguel’s residents are passionate about education and are proud that their schools have earned a Great Schools rating. There are currently 59 public schools serving almost 44,000 students in the Capistrano Unified School District. The district's average testing ranking is 10/10, which is in the top 10% of public schools in California. Students attend Aliso Niguel and Dana Point high schools, Aliso Viejo and Niguel Hills middle schools, and Crown Valley, Hidden Hills, Laguna Niguel, Marian Bergeson, and Moulton elementary schools.
